Emerald Ballet Theatre is thrilled to welcome back Broadway performer and former New York City Ballet dancer, David Prottas, for a fun and illuminating master class on Monday, March 18 from 5:15-6:45 p.m. at EBA. Dancers in level 5+ (8th grade and above) are invited to attend. The fee is $20 for EBA students, and $35 for non-EBA students.
Space is limited. To ensure your spot, register today!
David spent ten years at the New York City Ballet, where he danced a wide array of work from such choreographers as George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Christopher Wheeldon and Justin Peck. In 2016, he left NYCB to join the first national tour of An American in Paris. He will soon appear in The 5th Avenue Theatre's production of Marie, Dancing Still, the new musical about the dancer who inspired Degas. The Seattle production features NYCB Principal Dancer Tiler Peck (yes, THE Tiler Peck) as Marie, and Tony-nominated Terrence Mann as Degas. Tickets are on sale here.
