Murphy
Ballet Teacher
Katherine
studied ballet at Classical Ballet Academy in Orange
County with Maria Lazar and Dimitri Kulev and has
performed in over 15 ballets with Classical Ballet
Academy. In addition, she has danced with B2, a modern
dance company in southern California, under the
direction of William Lu. Katherine has competed
internationally and at the Youth America Grand Prix
finals both as an individual and in an ensemble. She
also received a regional judges award for choreography.
Katherine is currently studying dance at Cornish. After
graduation, Katherine would like to join a dance
company in Europe, and would ultimately like to start
her own dance company.
