SEASONS AT BENAROYA HALL
A collaboration with the Russian Chamber Music Foundation of Seattle, culminating in a full-length performance at Benaroya Hall. Gifted youth musicians earned the opportunity to perform in this concert by winning competitions playing Tchaikovsky’s "Seasons." "Seasons" is a set of twelve short character pieces for solo piano by the Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Each piece is characteristic of a different month of the year in the northern hemisphere. Under the direction of Artistic Director, Viktoria Titova, EBA faculty choreographed 12 pieces, one for each month, to perform simultaneously on stage with the musician. Advanced EBT dancers and guest artist Erin Crall performed each piece. Hosted by Classical King FM’s Sean MacLean.
